The choice between termination and splicing depends on network requirements, environmental conditions, and whether the connection needs to be permanent or flexible .Fiber Optic Termination TechniquesConnector Termination is the process of attaching a removable connector to the fiber end. Key steps include:Stripping the fiber coating to expose the bare glass.Cleaning the fiber endface to remove contaminants.Aligning and securing the fiber within the connector ferrule. Common connector types include SC, LC, ST, and MPO/MTP.
