In a 120/240-volt system, it also carries the unbalanced load between the two hot legs. Neutral wires, typically white or gray, are connected to the busbar via screw terminals, and the bar is usually mounted on insulators to prevent contact with the metal enclosure, ensuring safety in subpanels .Ground BusbarThe ground busbar is a separate conductive bar, usually made of copper or aluminum, that connects all grounding conductors from circuits, appliances, and equipment to a central point.
