Start by turning off all of the connected computers and peripherals, unplugging everything from the KVM, including power, and leaving it for 10 seconds. No matter how we use it, it does support a number of servers to connect to the same set of consoles, saving us desk space and a good number of hardware costs. The KVM's been plugged into a Cyberpower UPS for as long as I've had it so it's not like it got. Does anyone have a problem using kvm or usb switch? I also tried directly connecting the keyboard/mouse then plug and unplug multiple times but still the keyboard/mouse would stop working. The keyboard/mouse is still detected in device manager.
